Ophelia (Again)

I discovered a new paper - Canson Marker Paper - I bought it to use with markers, but decided to try it with pencil.  What to draw, what to draw .... Ophelia, of course.  It seemed to hold up to several layers of pencil and lots of erasing (especially the hair) very well.  I tried Strathmore first, but it is see-through and that about drove me nuts, even with the markers.  I didn't blend on this one, either left the pencil marks or blended with 4H.

I've been taking care of Ophelia while her Mom (my daughter) and Dad work, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the past three years.  This Monday she starts kindergarten.  I'm so bummed ... I can't let her know because I (we) want her to be excited about going to school. But I can tell all of you .... I might cry on Monday.  She's growing up and that's the way of things, but it's sad too.  I'll still have her sister, Coral.  She just turned 1, so I've got another four years with her ... unless I get a job (hahahaha).
