Jessica's Eyes

My daughter Jessica being silly - couldn't get over her eyes, though and it's an interesting pose, so ...

Graphite 2H - 2B, 6B
White gel pen for eye lights (thank you PBird12)
Strathmore Bristol smooth
Time - I don't track by hours (because I'm forgetful), started on 9/19 finished on 9/22

I KNOW there are areas where it really should be darker, but I'm starting to think that that might just be my "style" and I need to learn to work within that .... and stop fighting myself so much with "shoulds" before I drive myself crazy!

Just so everyone knows - this drawing is SOLD - I texted a photo of it to my daughter and her son (Dominic, 5) saw it and asked if it was for him ... so, now it's for him. I work for hugs!!
